 The theme is 'Mother nature', and a female must be included. Seems like I'm the only one who has used an animal! XD This is Kenzie (Right) and her 'cub' from around two years ago. I think it's fantastic how these two get on so well, even sharing a space on the carcass without fighting as the others around them were doing so. A true mother-daughter relationship! I chose to use this photo to not only illustrate mother nature's beauty, but also it's other more ugly side. This can be seen not only through the life of the lions contrasting with the scene of death..., but also the flawless beauty of the daughter, and the ugly battlescars of the mother. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. It does show both the beauty and ugliness of nature. Saying that though, it is only natural.
